Smiley Connections LLC is a compassionate support organization dedicated to helping parents and families navigate the heartbreaking journey of losing a child. We provide a safe, nurturing space where grieving parents and their living children can find emotional support, community, and connection.
Our mission is to walk alongside families through every step of their healing process—honoring their angel children while embracing life with those still here. Through shared experiences, support groups, family-focused events, and ongoing resources, we help families rediscover hope and healing in the wake of unimaginable loss.

My name is Denetra Smiley, founder of Smiley Connections LLC and creator of the “Parents That Have Lost a Child/Children Support Group.” After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of my own child in 2018, I turned my pain into purpose by creating a safe and supportive community for grieving families.
~~Through advocacy, speaking engagements, and healing initiatives like the “On the Road to Healing Retreat,” I work to bring awareness to grief, mental health, and the importance of family support systems.
🎗💛My mission is to help families find hope, healing, and connection while also advocating for change and resources for bereaved parents throughout our communities.
